About Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya (KSV)

Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya is a University established vide Gujarat State Government Act 21 of 2007 in May 2007 and approved by UGC (ref F. 9-18/2008 (cpp-1) March 19, 2009). The University has been set up by Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal which was established in the year 1919, by a Philanthropist “Pujya Chhaganbha”. The University has commenced Ph. D. programmes in Management, Pharmacy, Education, Bio-Technology, Sociology and Social Work, Computer Science/Computer Application, Engineering & Technology, Nano Science, Psychology, Chemistry, Commerce, Physical Education, English, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Hindi, Mathematics from the Academic Year 2008-09. The University has also commenced M.Phil. programmes in English, Education, and Physical Education from the Academic Year 2008-09. The Nursing College has been established from the academic year 2008-09 in the joint venture with Government of Gujarat in the Civil Hospital Premises of Gandhinagar. Constituent institutions of the University are accredited by NAAC B++ grade. The courses of various institutions of the university are also accredited by NBA.

Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya Gandhinagar Undergraduate Admissions 2019

The university offers UG courses in Science (B.Sc.) with five different specializations of Chemistry, Microbiology, Maths, Physics and Computer Science. It also offers bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA) and Computer Application (BCA). The duration of all the Undergraduate course is 3 years.

Additionally, students can also opt for Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing (2 years) and Master in Applied Management (5 years). Admission to all the Undergraduate courses is done on the merit basis of marks obtained at 12th (10+2) level. No Entrance test is organized for the purpose of admission in the Undergraduate courses.

Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya Gandhinagar Postgraduate Admissions 2019

The university offers 2 years of PG courses in Arts, Commerce and Science Stream under various specialization.

The candidates who want to pursue Science stream can choose from 7 different specializations of Information technology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Physics, and Nursing. Admission to all the Postgraduate courses is done on the merit basis of marks obtained at UG level.

Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya Gandhinagar B.Ed Admissions 2019

The university offers a full-fledged 2 years B.Ed course in 11 different specialization subjects. Admission to the B.Ed course is given according to the merit calculated on the basis of mark secured in the qualifying exam.

Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya Gandhinagar M.Phil/ Ph.D. Admission 2019

The university also offers the M.Phil course in four different specializations of Computer Science, Education, English and Physical Education.

In addition to the M.Phil. courses, the Ph.D. course is also offered in 17 different fields of research. The course duration of all the Ph.D. courses is 3 years for except Pharmacy and Engineering & Technology which is of 4 years.

For admission in both M.Phil and Ph.D., the candidates need to go through an entrance test organized by KSV and the minimum passing marks is 50%. The candidates who clear the entrance test and get selected on basis of merit have to go through an interview organized by Subject Experts (RDC) for final admission.

Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya (KSV) Application form 2019 will be available on official website. The University will release the separate application forms for different courses. The application form will be released in the month of April 2019. Students can keep the photocopy of the application form, acknowledgment slip and fee payment Challan for future reference.
