Gujarat Forensic Sciences University, the only university all over the world, dedicatedly provides the high level of education in Forensic & Investigative Science. The University was established by Gujarat Government, under the flagship of Home department.- The government of Gujarat State in September 2008. The University started functioning on July 2009 and University Grant Commission: provided reorganization to the Gujarat Forensic Sciences University as a State University, under Section 22 of the UGC Act 1956. The university is situated at Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat, which is a vibrant, industrious, safe & business-friendly state. The University is segmented into three prominent academic Sections: Institute of Forensic Science, Institute of Behavioural Science Institute of Research & Development. The University offers Postgraduate courses for the students. The University has made a significant impact at the national level in various areas of specialization and draws students in select disciplines from across the country The university is associated with the Directorate of Forensic Science (DFS) - Gujarat State that provides hands-on training to the University students. The University Ultramodern Campus construction is already underway; near the DFS premises, on a government allocated land of 50,000 Square Meters. The foundation of the University campus was laid by the Hon'ble CM of Gujarat State, on the 10th of October 2011.

Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (GFSU) M.Sc Admission 2019

GFSU provides M.Sc. in different categories. All the three institutes under the GFSU offer different kinds of Master of Science programmes related to their fields. The intake capacity of the courses depends on the specialization one chooses. For some of the Behavioural Sciences M.Sc. programmes, the University has not specified any intake capacity. The basic qualification the programmes demands is a Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with at least 50%-55% marks.

For admission into the M.Sc. courses of any institute, the Students must qualify the entrance examination organized by the University. Each institute will organize their entrance test separately and the Students will have to apply for them separately as well. Aspirants must send the filled-in application form to the correct institute and pay the required application fee. An interview will follow the admission test during the counseling session.

Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (GFSU) MBA Admission 2019

GFSU MBA Finance is a special programme that offers a specialization in Forensic Accounting. This particular programme is under the Institute of Forensic Science. The usual intake capacity of the programme is 40 seats, including all the reservation. The Student must be a graduate in any Bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% marks to be considered eligible.

For admission into MBA Finance, the Student must clear the entrance examination organized by the University. After qualifying the entrance test, the Student will be called for an interview. Based on the interview score the University will select the appropriate Students.

Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (GFSU) MS & Integrated MS Admission 2019

GFSU MS & Integrated MS programmes are offered by the Institute of Research & Development. The total intake capacity of the programme varies for each specialization. The minimum eligibility criterion for the programme is Bachelor’s degree in the related field.

For admission into the programme, the Student must clear the Entrance Test organized by the University. The qualified Students must attend the counseling session/interview to be permanently admitted into the course. For MS Forensic Pharmacy and MS Ph.D. Forensic Pharmacy, the Students with GATE/GPAT score will be given preference.

Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (GFSU) M.Phil & Ph.D. Admission 2019

GFSU M.Phil programme is offered by the Institute of Behavioural Sciences. The total intake capacity of the programme depends on each individual M.Phil programme. The Students must have an M.A. /M.Sc. in Psychology with a minimum of 55% marks to be considered eligible.

For admission into the M.Phil programme, the Student must qualify the entrance test organized by the University. The qualified Student will also have to attend an interview to be admitted into the course.

GFSU Ph.D. programme is offered by the Institute of Research and Development. The total intake capacity for the Ph.D. programme is not specified by the University. Though the Student must have a minimum required qualification to apply for the programme, the admission will only be on the basis of the entrance examination organized by the University
